A Journey To Self-discovery.
A Path to Self-actualisation.

Srividya as a Process of Self-actualisation in Teenagers

During the teen years, the decisions one makes either make or break their life. Teenagers are prone to respond immediately and instinctively. This is also an age when doubt creeps in, and one isn’t sure of the next logical step. Research in Neuroscience shows that, at this age, the pathway in the brain between the amygdala and frontal lobe isn’t strong, and teenagers are prone to anxiety or erratic behaviour.

Learning Srividya in teens can be very beneficial as it is easier to integrate into life and bring discipline to make the right decisions. Srividya Saadhana techniques can help teens in the following areas:

  • teens can become more responsive and less reactive
  • improve focus and concentration to perform better
  • improve self-esteem and memory
  • reduce high blood pressure and heart rate
  • balance the immune system
  • gives deeper self-awareness
  • helps them listen to their inner, intuitive wisdom for taking crucial life decisions
  • easier to integrate into life at this age and bring discipline to their life

Srividya as a Path of Women's Empowerment

Empowerment is not only about external liberation but also the liberation of the complete human being. Empowerment is an integrated life-long process of individual development so that a person can transform all external conditions and express their full potential.

Women typically have to face the feelings of not being good enough, not trusting their intuition, having to hide their inherent strength, and competing for leadership roles and resources. Many women work in challenging environments with all kinds of pressures.

Empowering women ’empowers’ the family, community and society as a whole. Guruji always held women in very high esteem and entrusted significant responsibilities to them.

Srividya Saadhana builds resilience and awareness and helps them to ride life’s ups and downs and live happier and healthier lives. Addressing the most pressing issues of our times need women’s wisdom & creativity.

Srividya Saadhana benefits women to:

  • discover their femininity and that it can be a source of great power
  • become aware of their inner condition and a way of aligning with nature
  • decrease levels of the stress hormone cortisol in their bodies
  • reduced anxiety and worrying about the future
  • enhance the ability to focus
  • better decision-making / and arrive at situations with a balanced and present mind
  • leading from within and becoming transformational leaders
  • improved the sense of self and regulation of emotions

Community Service as a Path to Self-realisation

“Selfless Service is an act of compassion and care for others above oneself”.

The purpose of Srividya Saadhana is to gain deep insights into the true nature of reality and live harmoniously with fellow beings, animals and all life forms. We can progress in Srividya only when we see ourselves in others – empath, compassion, love, a sense of belonging, and sharing are all qualities of a Saadhaka.

Indian culture has given significant importance to selfless service. Service is not just a charity activity. Seva is the pinnacle of human excellence. Being able to serve fellow human beings, animals and everything in nature is considered a blessing and a service to god.

Sri Vidya Learning Centre (SVLC) has initiated a few significant projects and is planning to begin more to bring transformation in individuals and society through three channels of activities – Charity, Service and Empowerment.

Testimonials

I am a soldier and I'm at war. I know that my life could end at any moment. It depends on my karma, but Guruji gives me confidence. Confidence that one day I will finally return home to the Mother Goddess. And even death will not prevent me from this.

Words are inadequate to express what Guru Seva, Sri Vidya Upasana gives and to put them concisely is an attempt at futility. If you are on the edge, leap with faith. Unlike others, Guruji does not promise miracles but shows us the miracle in Upasana, Deeksha, and dhyana.

Guruji's ideology of Moving from "I" ness to "HIGHNESS" has greatly influenced me...
Guruji had suggested I work on becoming non-reactive, which I put into practice and reaping the benefit of enjoying the inner joy...
My journey in the whole process transformed me into a better person. However, before getting into SRIVIDYA, my life was probably with a subtle consciousness, but now I live with a broad awareness.
